Shipping Information
We ship iris rhizomes via USPS during our summer shipping season, once plants are fully mature and ready to travel safely. Shipping typically takes place between late June and August, depending on weather and plant readiness.
Each rhizome is dug fresh, carefully trimmed, cleaned, labeled, and allowed to dry before packing. Fans are trimmed to reduce moisture loss and shipping stress, which helps ensure the healthiest possible start once planted.
All orders are packed by hand with care and shipped bare-root. Tracking information is provided when your order ships.
Returns & Guarantee
Because live plants are perishable, we are unable to accept returns. That said, your satisfaction is important to us, and we truly want you to feel comfortable reaching out if something does not seem right.
We take great care to ensure all iris rhizomes are healthy, true to name, and accurately labeled at the time of shipment. If you have any concerns when your order arrives, please contact us within one week of delivery with photos and a brief description of the issue. We are always happy to answer questions, offer guidance, or help put your mind at ease.
If a plant is found to be incorrect, we will, at our discretion, offer a replacement or refund the following season, if stock is available. Replacement availability depends on growing conditions and inventory.
This guarantee applies to plant identity only and does not cover losses related to weather, soil conditions, planting depth, watering practices, pests, or other factors beyond our control.

Shipping Costs (U.S. Orders)
Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout based on your order total. All orders ship via USPS Ground and are boxed to safely fit the size of your order.
Current shipping rates:

Orders up to $35 – $13 shipping

Orders $35.01–$60 – $17shipping

Orders $60.01–$150 – $22shipping

Orders $150.01–$300 – $24 shipping

Orders over $300 – $29 shipping
Orders containing a large number of rhizomes may ship in more than one box to ensure safe arrival.
How Your Irises Are Packed
Orders are packed by hand using materials chosen to protect your rhizomes during transit while allowing them to breathe.
Each order is:

Boxed to fit the size of the order, reducing movement during shipping

Wrapped in paper to prevent shifting and abrasion

Cushioned with excelsior (wood fiber) to absorb shock and protect growth points

Packed dry and breathable to avoid excess moisture buildup
Bonus Rhizomes
All orders of 4 or more rhizomes will receive at least one free bonus rhizome as a thank-you.
Bonus rhizomes are fully labeled and selected from healthy, surplus stock.
Availability and varieties may vary, but every bonus rhizome is shipped with the same care as the rest of your order.
