Angelic Wings (Bernice Miller, 1991), Seedling AW91, is a historic tall bearded iris growing to approximately 35 inches, blooming early midseason with dependable rebloom in favorable climates. Lightly ruffled pale blue blooms soften toward white as they mature, creating a luminous effect in the garden, while white beards tipped with yellow and red in the throat add warmth and contrast; the fragrance is slight and sweet. Bred from Radiant Angel × English Cottage and introduced through Garden of the Enchanted Rainbow in 1991, rebloom has been reported in AL, CA, ID, KY, MT, NE, TN, and the Netherlands, with performance confirmed in USDA Zones 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9.
