Attitude Adjustment (Johnson, 2021) TB Fragrant HM

Attitude Adjustment is a tall bearded iris introduced by Thomas Johnson in 2021, blooming midseason at about 35 inches. Rich old gold standards are washed and dotted with red-violet, echoing the gold style arms. The falls are bright white with deep maroon hafts and a striking red-violet plicata band created by dense dotting around the edges. Burnt orange beards tipped violet add dramatic contrast at the center of the bloom. Bred from an unknown seedling crossed with Marry the Night, this modern variety combines bold patterning with a sweet fragrance and earned an Honorable Mention in 2024.
