Beachgirl (Blyth, 1983) TB

Beachgirl is a tall bearded iris introduced by Barry Blyth in 1983, growing to about 39 inches and blooming from early through late season. Elegant white standards carry a soft hint of pastel pink along the midrib, creating a delicate contrast above warm orange-apricot falls. A vivid tangerine-red beard adds a bright focal point at the center of the bloom. Bred from Champagne Snow crossed with a Love Chant × Festive Skirt lineage, this variety shows the warm sunset tones and graceful color blending characteristic of Blyth hybrids. Rebloom has been reported in Australia.
