Bold Move (Sutton 2009) TB

Bold Move was introduced by Michael Sutton in 2009 and grows to about 35 inches tall, blooming early through late season. This showstopping Tall Bearded iris is exactly what its name promises, with bright yellow standards above falls that explode in a stunning wash of violet, cornflower blue, and red purple, with a rim that lightens from deep indian lake to a soft aster mauve edge. A yellow zone and orange throat at the center make it look like the color is radiating outward. Gardeners in California (USDA Zones 8 and 9) have reported rebloom.
