Bounce (Blyth, 2003) IB

Bounce is an intermediate bearded iris introduced by Barry Blyth in 2003, blooming early midseason at about 25 inches. The standards range from light garnet to deep rose amethyst, while the falls show rich garnet rose overlaid with reddish tan brown. A small bright violet chevron below the beard runs down the fall, adding a striking flash of color. Bronze beards tipped bright violet complete the look. Slight sweet fragrance adds another layer of appeal. Bred from Gaelic Jig × Wee Stroll, this variety carries Blyth’s signature color complexity in a compact, well-proportioned form.
