Bravery (Ghio, 2011) TB HM AM
$13.00Price
Bravery is a tall bearded iris introduced by Joseph Ghio in 2011, growing about 37 inches tall and blooming early to midseason. The standards are a soft blue white, standing above dramatic velvety blue purple falls with a dark, almost blackish cast. A wide ruffled blue white band edges the falls, creating striking contrast and giving the bloom a bold, high-impact look in the garden. Bright tangerine beards provide a vivid accent at the center of the flower. Bravery was bred from a sibling of Dazzle used as the pod parent crossed with Accessible. This variety earned the Honorable Mention in 2014 and the Award of Merit in 2016.
