Break My Heart (Johnson, 2021) TB HM - Fragrant

Break My Heart (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 36 inches, blooming midseason to late. Standards are white with a lemon center and faint lemon veining, with light yellow style arms. Falls are deep, rich red-violet edged with a very light lavender band followed by a gold band. Beards are tangerine in the throat and midsection, ending in violet. The flower is sweetly fragrant and is a sibling of Read My Mind. This iris received an Honorable Mention in 2023.
