Casino Cruiser (Burseen, 2007) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 36 inches, blooming early in the season. Standards are blended light chrome yellow (RHS 15C) and buttercup yellow (RHS 15A), with style arms in buttercup yellow. Falls match the standards with maize yellow hafts and veined texture. Beards are yellow gold with light chrome yellow spoons, classifying this variety as Space Age. Blooms are well ruffled and carry a sweet fragrance. Casino Cruiser is the result of seedling A-176 ((Zurbrigg seedling 24-10-3 × seedling 97-571: ‘Haute Couture’ × ‘Joan’s Party’)) crossed with Hoptoit, and was introduced by Tom Burseen in 2008. It earned Honorable Mention in 2011 and Award of Merit in 2013.
