Chantilly Bride (Jedlicka, 2007) TB

$9.00Price

Chantilly Bride is a tall bearded iris introduced by Leonard and Kathie Jedlicka in 2007, growing about 32 inches tall and blooming midseason. The blooms are an elegant opaque white with a soft yellow touch at the base of the standards. Style arms are white with yellow along the side edges and finely serrated crests. The falls match the standards in color and form, rounded and heavily ripple pleated, giving the flower a refined, lace-like appearance that inspired its name. The beards are white with yellow in the throat, completing the soft, bridal look of the bloom. Chantilly Bride was bred from Diamond Lil and Laced Cotton and is noted for its strong ruffling and laced petal edges. Rebloom has been reported in California under favorable conditions.
