Cinque Terre (Schreiner, 2010) TB HM

Cinque Terre is a tall bearded iris introduced by Schreiner’s Gardens in 2010, growing to an impressive height of about 43 inches and blooming late in the season. The standards are a soft violet blend, while the falls display a contrasting yellow blend finished with a darker violet rim that creates a striking two tone effect. Yellow beards sit at the center of the bloom and tie the colors together. This distinctive iris was bred from Blushing Kiss crossed with a complex Schreiner seedling line and shows the strong form and presence typical of modern tall bearded irises. Cinque Terre received the Honorable Mention in 2014 from the American Iris Society.
