Concertina (Sutton, 1999) is a 27 inch intermediate bearded iris blooming early midseason with reliable rebloom reported in multiple regions. Flowers are richly ruffled amaranth rose with golden tan hafts. Beards are orange tipped dark violet blue with a distinct dark violet blue horn, making this a true space age form. Introduced by George Sutton in 2000 from ‘Aaron’s Dagger’ × ‘Chanted’, it earned Honorable Mention in 2002 and Award of Merit in 2006.
