Confection Perfection (Black 2020) TB

Confection Perfection, introduced by Paul Black in 2020, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 38 inches tall with a midseason to very late bloom. The standards are a light pink with slightly darker lining and a soft blue-pink edge, while the falls have a white center blending to pale pink, accented by a rose-pink plicata pattern at the hafts and a narrow band along the edge. Style arms are mid-light pink with buff-pink crests, and beards are white at the base with tangerine tips, adding a warm highlight. Nicely formed with good substance, this variety has a soft, confection-like color palette with fine detail and gentle contrast. Bred from Dearest crossed with a complex lineage including Fantasy In Pink and Sea Power. A newer introduction that reflects modern breeding with refined patterning and extended bloom.
