Conjuration (Monty Byers, 1988) is a tall bearded space age iris reaching approximately 36 inches, blooming midseason to late. Standards are white with edges lightly infused pale violet-blue, while the falls are white suffusing to deep bright amethyst-violet at the edges. Beards are white tipped tangerine with fuzzy white horns, and the blooms are ruffled. Parentage is seedling B-37-10 (Sky Hooks x Condottiere) x Alpine Castle. This iris has received numerous major awards including Honorable Mention, Premio Firenze, Award of Merit, Wister Medal, American Dykes Medal, and multiple Nelson Awards. Rebloom has been reported in California in USDA Zone 9.
