Coral Point (Sutton, 1999) TB SA HM

Coral Point (Sutton, 1999) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 37 inches, blooming late midseason. Blooms are ruffled and laced pale pink (RHS 56D), giving a soft, refined presentation. Beards are coral with a pink horn, classifying this variety as Space Age. The blooms carry a slight musky fragrance. Coral Point is the result of Sky Hooks × seedling F-257 ((‘Pink Ember’ × ‘Playgirl’) × ‘Twice Thrilling’) and was introduced by George Sutton in 2000. It earned Honorable Mention in 2003.
