Dazzle (Ghio, 2010) TB HM AM

Dazzle is a tall bearded iris introduced by Joseph Ghio in 2010, growing about 40 inches tall and blooming in the late midseason garden. The standards are a warm apricot pink that contrast beautifully with the falls, which are deep rosy purple with a dark, almost black sheen. A soft biscuit pink rim edges the falls and adds a refined highlight to the dramatic darker tones. Bright tangerine beards stand out at the center of the bloom and complete the vibrant color combination. Dazzle was bred from a complex lineage involving Novel Idea, Exposé, Decadence, and Accessible, and earned the Honorable Mention in 2013 and the Award of Merit in 2017.
