Deep Pockets (Sutton, 2020) TB

Deep Pockets (Michael Sutton, 2020) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 38 inches, blooming early to midseason. Standards are violet with a pale yellow band at the edge, while the style arms are cream with pale yellow crests. Falls are a deep dark violet near black, highlighted by white in the throat and around the beard and finished with a pale yellow edge. Beards are yellow in the throat and midsection, transitioning to white at the ends. This variety was selected as Seedling AZ-5544-B from the cross Luminate x seedling S-223 derived from Double Click x Straight Up, and was further evaluated in 2021.
