Double Ringer (Ernst, 2007) TB HM AM

Double Ringer (Richard Ernst, 2007) is a tall bearded iris reaching approximately 38 inches, blooming late midseason. Standards are white touched with yellow on the midrib, with white style arms highlighted in yellow. Falls have a white ground with a gilt edge, a narrow white band, a wide yellow band, a vertical yellow stripe, and precise violet-brown haft markings. Beards are orange tangerine, the blooms are ruffled, and the fragrance is slightly sweet. Parentage is Whispering Spirits x Amarillo Frills. Awards include Honorable Mention in 2009 and Award of Merit in 2012.
