$11.00Price

Dracula’s Kiss (Schreiner, 2009) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 36 inches, blooming late midseason. Standards and style arms are a rich dark purple, while the falls deepen to an intense dark purple-black, creating a dramatic, near-black presentation. Beards are vivid tangerine, providing striking contrast against the dark petals. This variety was selected as Seedling PP 602-A from a complex lineage including Old Black Magic, Satin Satan, Diabolique, Black Tornado, and Local Color, and was evaluated by Schreiner in 2009. It has earned Honorable Mention in 2011, Award of Merit in 2013, and the Nelson Award in 2022. Rebloom has been reported in California, particularly in USDA Zone 9.
