Electrified (Sutton 2022) TB

Electrified, introduced by Michael Sutton in 2022, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 36 inches tall with a midseason bloom. The standards are a rich golden brown with darker veining and midribs, while the falls have a yellow ground heavily marked with dark burgundy-brown in the throat, shoulders, and along the edge, with plicata-style dotted lines extending down most of the petal. Old gold beards blend naturally into the warm color palette. Nicely formed with good substance, this variety stands out for its bold contrast and intricate patterning. It also carries a pronounced sweet fragrance. Bred from Tuscan Summer crossed with Volcanic Glow. A newer introduction that reflects modern breeding with strong color contrast and detail.
