Fall Empire (Sutton, 2001) TB RE

Fall Empire (George Sutton, 2001) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 32 inches, blooming late midseason with rebloom reported. Standards and style arms are naples yellow, while the falls are empire yellow with cream around the beard. Beards are orange with yellow at the ends, blooms are ruffled, and the fragrance is slightly sweet. Parentage is Saxon x Orange Popsicle. Rebloom has been reported in California, Montana, and Texas in USDA Zones 4b, 8, 8a, and 9.
