Firebreather (Schreiner 1992) TB HM

Firebreather lives up to its name with a bold, all-orange bloom and striking tangerine beards that glow in the garden. This tall bearded iris reaches about 37 inches and puts on a late season show, extending your bloom time beautifully. Gardeners in warmer climates (USDA Zone 8) have reported rebloom. Bred from Spiced Orange crossed with a seedling of Soft Moonbeam, New Moon, and Fiery Chariot. This variety received the Honorable Mention in 1994.
