Gem Trader (Blyth, 2017) TB HM

Gem Trader (Blyth, 2017) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 35 inches, blooming early to midseason. Standards are soft lilac with a ¼ inch edge of blended buff pink and a midrib infusion that enhances the lilac tone. Falls are light burgundy, lightening toward the beards, with a ¼ inch edge of muted gold. Beards are soft old gold. The blooms carry a slight fragrance. Gem Trader is the result of Bring Me Diamonds × Handful of Magic and was introduced by Barry Blyth in 2017. It earned Honorable Mention in 2022 for its refined color blending and strong garden performance.
