Grand Canyon Sunset (Schreiner, 2011), Seedling RR 583-A, is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 35 inches and blooming midseason with striking desert-inspired color contrast. Standards and style arms glow in warm apricot (RHS 18A), while the falls are rich orchid violet (75A) edged with a crisp quarter-inch apricot rim, creating a vivid two-tone effect; bright tangerine beards add warmth at the center. Bred from Lovely Senorita × Millennium Sunrise and introduced by Schreiner in 2011, it earned Honorable Mention in 2013 and Award of Merit in 2015 for its strong form and garden impact.
