Haunted Heart was introduced by Keith Keppel in 2009 and grows to about 36 inches tall, blooming in midseason. The standards are pale pinkish grey white, while the falls display a complex pattern of pinkish lavender grey white heavily overlaid with heliotrope grey to lobelia violet fine lining and veining that is strongest toward the hafts. Beards are light shrimp pink tipped with light blue. The flowers are strongly ruffled with light lacing and have a light fragrance. This iris received the Honorable Mention in 2012, Award of Merit in 2014, Wister Medal in 2016, and the American Dykes Medal in 2018.
