High Master (Blyth, 2000) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 36 inches, blooming late midseason. This variety displays a clear luminata pattern. Standards are lemon flushed orchid rose except at the edge. Falls are rose magenta with a fine 1/8 inch lemon edge and a yellow outpouring around the beard that transitions to white below. Beards are yellow with bright orange in the throat. The blooms carry a slight sweet fragrance. High Master is the result of (‘Lemon Silence’ × ‘Surfie Girl’) crossed with ‘Fancy Woman’ and was introduced by Barry Blyth through Tempo Two in 2000/01.
