I I Stutter (Kanarowski 2012) TB RE HM

I I Stutter, introduced by Douglas Kanarowski in 2012, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 41 inches tall with an exceptionally long bloom season from very early to very late, followed by reliable rebloom reported across multiple regions. The standards are a rich wisteria-purple with luminata edges that lighten to yellow-cream, deepening to warmer yellow at the base. Falls are a deep, saturated wisteria-purple highlighted by striking white luminata lines and edging, with white around the beard and yellow-cream hafts dusted in brick-toned plicata sanding. Beards shift from orange in the throat to lemon at midsection, ending in white. Abundant ruffling gives the bloom a full, dramatic presentation. Slightly musky fragrance adds another layer of interest. Rebloom often appears in a paler, softer version of the spring bloom, adding a second season of interest with a different look. Bred from complex parentage including Clarence, Queen In Calico, Flights Of Fancy, and Daughter Of Stars. Awarded Honorable Mention in 2015. A distinctive modern variety with strong garden performance and proven rebloom.
