Indelible (Sutton 2025) TB

Indelible, introduced by Mike Sutton in 2025, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 35 inches tall with an early to midseason bloom and reported rebloom. The standards are a rich, strong purple with subtle violet veining, while the falls are near black, slightly lighter at the edge and in the throat, creating a deep, dramatic contrast. Style arms match the standards with a darker crest, adding depth to the upper portion of the bloom. Bright yellow-orange beards stand out against the darker tones, providing a bold focal point. Nicely formed with good substance, this variety has a powerful presence in the garden and carries a pronounced sweet fragrance. Bred from Huckleberry Pie crossed with a seedling from Brilliant Disguise and Autumn Rain. A newer introduction that reflects modern breeding with saturated color and strong contrast.
