Italian Summer (Dash 2021) TB

Italian Summer, introduced by Howard Dash in 2021, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 33 inches tall with a midseason bloom. The standards and style arms are a warm peachy pink with a faint rim, while the falls are a rich ruby red surrounding a softer peachy pink area around the beard, creating a glowing, sun-warmed contrast. Bright orange beards add an extra pop of color and tie the bloom together beautifully. Nicely formed with good substance, this variety has a warm Mediterranean feel and stands out in the garden for its saturated yet blended color palette. It carries a slight fragrance. Bred from Bottle Rocket crossed with Chasing Destiny. A newer introduction that reflects modern breeding with rich color contrast and refined form.
