Lava Moonscape (Meininger, 1998) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 34 inches, blooming early to midseason. Standards are white with a pink center flush and subtle green veining. Style arms are white flushed pink along the edge and midrib. Falls are pale lavender with mauve-marked hafts and a narrow flesh pink rim. Beards are carrot orange. The blooms are ruffled. Lava Moonscape is the result of Matinée Idol × unknown and was introduced by LeRoy Meininger through Monument, Woodland Iris in 1998. It earned Honorable Mention in 2003.
