Live Long And Prosper, introduced by Douglas Kanarowski in 2024, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 38 inches tall with an early to midseason bloom. The standards are a brilliant, glowing gold lightly edged with subtle brown eyelash markings, while the falls are deep gold with a bold, one-inch band of rich black-red around the edge, creating a striking high-contrast look. Style arms are slightly deeper than the standards, adding depth to the upper portion of the bloom. Bright orange beards stand out against the darker tones and tie the color palette together. Nicely ruffled with strong substance, this variety has a dramatic presence in the garden and also carries a slight sweet fragrance. Bred from Phasers On Sun crossed with a complex seedling line including Gypsy Woman and Starring. A newer introduction that showcases modern breeding with bold contrast and saturated color.
