Midnight Treat was introduced by Schreiner's in 2006 and grows to about 36 inches tall, blooming early to midseason. This stunning iris is a study in deep, moody purples with rich violet purple standards and falls, and dark purple beards that add depth and drama. Bred from a cross of Black Butte and Dark Passion, then crossed with Brazilian Holiday. This variety received the Honorable Mention in 2008.
