Mighty Cool (Blyth 2001) TB

Mighty Cool was introduced by Barry Blyth in 2001 and grows to about 38 inches tall, blooming very early in the season with occasional rebloom reported in warm climates. The standards are white while the falls are blended lavender blue that lightens slightly toward the edge, with greenish brown hafts. The flowers carry a very herbal sweet fragrance and smell like fresh basil. This variety was bred from ‘Louisa’s Song’ crossed with a complex seedling line involving ‘Affaire’, ‘Chocolate Vanilla’, and ‘Electrique’.
