Over Alaska (Schreiner, 2003) TB HM

Over Alaska (Schreiner, 2003), Seedling GG 5-1, is a tall bearded iris reaching about 36 inches and blooming early to midseason in striking cool tones. Standards open white lightly washed in soft blue (RHS 91D), echoed by blue white style arms, while the falls deepen to a rich dark blue violet (93A) for dramatic contrast. Blue beards with a gold base add brightness and definition against the darker falls. Bred from Ride The Wind × Royal Intrigue and introduced by Schreiner in 2003, it earned Honorable Mention in 2005 and is admired for its crisp color separation and strong garden presence.
