The petals are bright and clean with matching yellow beards, bringing a fresh burst of color at the very start of the iris season. Bred from Bride × Jean Siret, this classic introduction earned Honorable Mention in 1951, the British Iris Society Bronze Medal in 1954, the Dwarf Iris Society Medal in 1955, and the Caparne Award in 1957. Rebloom has been reported in Maryland under suitable conditions.
