Plot Thickens (Johnson 2024) TB

Plot Thickens, introduced by Thomas Johnson in 2024, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 38 inches tall with a midseason to late bloom. The standards are a deep black cherry to near black, matched by black cherry style arms, creating a dark, dramatic top. The falls provide striking contrast with a pristine white ground lightly flushed with lemon, overlaid by a solid red-black band filled with black cherry dotting for added detail. Beards are a blend of black cherry and orange, finishing with a white tip, tying the colors together. Nicely formed with good substance, this variety stands out for its bold contrast and intricate patterning. It carries a slight fragrance. Bred from Raspberry Pie crossed with Flash Mob. A newer introduction that reflects modern breeding with strong contrast and unique detail.
