Presby's Crown Jewel (Tragitt, 2002) TB HM AM RE

Presby's Crown Jewel is a tall bearded iris introduced by H. N. Tragitt and registered by Schreiner's Gardens in 2002, growing about 36 inches tall and blooming in the midseason garden. The blooms have a clean white ground with a bold dark blue violet plicata edge on the falls, while the style arms are also dark blue violet, adding strong contrast. The beards are white with hairs tipped yellow. Parentage is unknown, originating from seed provided by Schreiner's Gardens. Presby's Crown Jewel received the Honorable Mention in 2004 and the Award of Merit in 2007. Rebloom has been reported in the Pacific Northwest including Oregon and British Columbia.
