Quench is a standard dwarf bearded iris introduced by Hugh Stout in 2013, blooming early to midseason at about 14 inches. Standards are a cool medium slate-blue with light yellow at the base, while the falls display the same slate-blue enhanced by a striking white luminata pattern around the beards and a thin white rim. Beards are white at the base tipped in gold, and the bloom carries a pronounced sweet fragrance. Bred from Crystal Ship × Canadian Kisses, it earned Honorable Mention in 2017 and Award of Merit in 2022.
