Rhapsodic (Blyth, 2001) TB

Rhapsodic (Blyth, 2001) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 39 inches, blooming midseason. Blooms are metallic lavender lilac with falls featuring a soft bluish blaze for added depth. Beards are tangerine with lilac at the end, creating a vibrant focal point. The blooms carry a sweet fragrance. Rhapsodic is the result of seedling F193-1 (‘Peace Begins’ sibling) × seedling F82-1 (‘Avona’ sibling) and was introduced by Barry Blyth through Tempo Two in 2001/02.
