Rustler (Keith Keppel, 1987) is a tall bearded iris reaching approximately 37 inches, blooming midseason. Standards are antique gold flushed with faded rose, while the falls are henna paling to antique gold at the margins. Beards are florida gold tipped chrome orange, and the fragrance is slightly sweet. Parentage is Laredo x Dazzling Gold. Awards include High Commendation in 1987, Favorite Guest in 1989, Honorable Mention in 1990, Franklin Cook Cup in 1990, and Award of Merit in 1992. Rebloom has been reported in California and Texas in USDA Zone 10.
