Silverado (Schreiners, 1986) TB RE HC HM AM WM DM NA

$11.00Price

Silverado is a historic tall bearded iris introduced by Schreiners in 1986, blooming midseason at approximately 38 inches in a luminous butterfly blue self. The softly ruffled petals carry a smooth, even wash of clear blue with matching self beard, giving the bloom a cool, refined elegance that stands out in any blue planting. Bred from complex Schreiner lineage including Starina × Navy Strut crossed with Carriage Trade, this classic went on to earn High Commendation, Honorable Mention, Award of Merit, the Wister Medal, and the American Dykes Medal, along with multiple Nelson Awards. Rebloom has been reported in Texas.
