Sky And Sun (Donald Spoon, 1997) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 32 inches, blooming midseason. The flowers are a clear sky blue self with a flared form and softly ruffled petals. Beards are large and golden yellow, creating a striking contrast against the blue blooms. This variety was selected as Seedling 92-30 from the cross Navajo Jewel x Clear Day and was introduced through Winterberry in 1999. Sky And Sun received Honorable Mention in 2001, the Award of Merit in 2003, and the Nelson Award in 2011.
