$10.00Price
Snowmound (Schreiner, 1976) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 36 inches, blooming midseason. Standards are pure white, creating a crisp contrast against the falls, which are velvety deep pansy purple with a fine wire rim edging. Beards are lemon white, brightening the center of the bloom. Snowmound has complex parentage involving Indiglow, Toll Gate, After Dark, Merry Ripple, and select seedlings, and was introduced by Schreiner in 1976. It earned Honorable Mention in 1979. Rebloom has been reported in California, with performance depending on planting zone and growing conditions.
