Soul Mate was introduced by Joseph Ghio in 2012 and grows to about 36 inches tall, blooming in late midseason. The flowers are a soft blue lavender self with subtle pink undertones, gradually aging to a more silvery lavender as the bloom matures. Tangerine beards provide a warm contrast at the center of the flower. This variety was bred from ‘Uptown Lady’ crossed with ‘Rite of Passage’ and received the Honorable Mention in 2015.
