Spittin Cotton (Burseen, 2008) TB
$11.00Price
Spittin Cotton is a tall bearded iris introduced by Tom Burseen in 2008, growing about 36 inches tall and blooming from early through late in the iris season. The standards and style arms are pale lilac, lighter than RHS 76D, creating a soft pastel effect above the falls. The falls are white with a slight pale yellow wash along the edges. The beards are yellow tipped with poppy red, adding a striking accent at the center of the bloom. The petals are nicely ruffled and the flowers carry a noticeable spicy fragrance. Spittin Cotton was bred from Kid Power crossed with a complex seedling line including Margaret Inez, Duded Up, Santa, and Don't Miss
