Strawberry Freeze (Johnson 2012) TB HM AM

Strawberry Freeze was introduced by Thomas Johnson in 2012 and grows to about 35 inches tall, blooming in midseason with a slight fragrance. The standards are white with a soft strawberry blush rising through the center, while the style arms remain white. The falls are rich strawberry pink blending outward to a wide band of lighter strawberry that fades to a white border along the edges. Bright orange beards provide a strong central accent. This variety was bred from ‘By Jeeves’ crossed with a Blyth seedling from (‘Hold My Hand’ x ‘Brave Face’). It received the Honorable Mention in 2014 and the Award of Merit in 2018.
