Summer Shadow (Keppel, 2010) TB HM

Summer Shadow (Keppel, 2010) is a tall bearded iris growing to approximately 36 inches, blooming midseason. Standards and style arms range from chrome lemon to aureolin, giving a bright, luminous appearance. Falls are chrome lemon with a ¾ to 1 inch marginal band of warm brownish rose that blends inward, creating a striking contrast. Beards are deeper and brighter than golden glow. Summer Shadow is the result of Bold Vision × a Gypsy Lord sibling and was introduced by Keith Keppel in 2011. It earned Honorable Mention in 2013.
