Sunrise Elegy, introduced by Schreiner in 2012, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 39 inches tall with a midseason bloom. The standards are a clear, bright yellow, while the falls are soft cream with a distinct deeper yellow halo, creating a gentle two-tone effect. Yellow beards blend naturally into the bloom, enhancing the warm, sunrise-like color palette. Nicely formed with good substance, this variety has a clean, classic look that stands out in the garden. Bred from a complex lineage including Dakota Moon and Savannah Sunset.
