Tainted Love (Johnson, 2016) TB

Tainted Love is a tall bearded iris introduced by Thomas Johnson in 2016, growing about 31 inches tall and blooming early in the iris season. The standards and falls are a warm mid peach orange, with the falls showing short red lines around the beard that add subtle detail near the center of the bloom. The beards are bright orange, blending naturally with the warm tones of the petals. The flowers carry a sweet fragrance and have a nicely formed bloom. Tainted Love was bred from Poster Girl crossed with Adoree and is valued for its warm, glowing color in the early iris garden.
