Take A Look (Johnson 2023) TB

Take A Look, introduced by Thomas Johnson in 2023, is a Tall Bearded iris growing to about 36 inches tall with a midseason bloom. The standards are a rich medium wine red, with matching style arms that deepen along the crest. The falls are plush maroon to near black, finished with a narrow wine red edge that adds clean definition. Beards are orange at the base with maroon tips, tying the bloom together with a subtle contrast. Lightly ruffled with a velvety texture, this variety has strong presence in the garden and is further enhanced by a sweet fragrance. Bred from Night Whispers crossed with Own The Night. A newer introduction that reflects modern breeding in deep, saturated tones.
